- Context
- Product manager work in a product team. Repetitive tasks (preparing projects, mockups, documentation and presentations) took a lot of time
- Problem
- Preparing projects, interactive mockups, documentation in Confluence and Jira and recurring presentations was repetitive work, and every update cost time. Documentation quickly went out of date, and materials in the company’s visual identity had to be prepared from scratch each time.
- What I did
- A process built around an AI assistant and the iterative refinement of project assumptions was introduced into everyday work. First the project assumptions are clarified together with the assistant, further iterations cover risks and dependencies, and then the documentation in Confluence and the threads and tasks in Jira are created. The same route is used to prepare interactive mockups and prototypes, recurring presentations and training presentations in the company’s visual identity. The approach works in projects of different scope, including work on a brand change.
- Result
- Documentation is updated faster and stays consistent, presentations start from a ready scheme, and more time is left for product decisions and for talking to the team.
