What data I process and why

• Booking a call in the calendar. When you book a call, you provide your name, email address, time zone and any information you enter in the form. I process it to schedule and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep it until the contact ends and then until potential claims expire (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Email messages. When you write to me, I process your address and the content of your message to reply and to keep the correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep it until the matter is closed and then until potential claims expire.
• Server logs. The hosting provider automatically records your IP address, the date and browser details to keep the site secure and working properly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention period: [TO BE COMPLETED after checking with dhosting.pl].

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use its own cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on this site, with no connections to external servers.

Booking calendar (Cal.com)

The calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc. (USA). It loads only when you reach the Contact section. At that point your browser connects to Cal.com servers, which receive, among other things, your IP address and may store technical data necessary for the calendar to work. Cal.com processes booking data on my behalf under a data processing agreement. Data may be transferred to the USA [TO BE COMPLETED: transfer basis, e.g. the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, in line with Cal.com documents]. Data recipients

The hosting and email provider (dhosting.pl) and Cal.com, Inc. I do not sell data or pass it on for marketing purposes.

This site contains links to external services, such as LinkedIn. When you click one, you leave this site and that service’s own policy applies. The site does not embed LinkedIn plugins.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing and port it, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@barbarakowol.com. Providing data is voluntary, but without it I cannot schedule a call or reply to your message.

Profiling

I do not make automated decisions and I do not profile visitors.
