A physiotherapist’s website from scratch: from interview to launch

- Context
- A physiotherapist (orthopaedic and dental physiotherapy, Krakow) needed a business-card website. I was responsible for the project from the first conversation to launch
- Problem
- The website was built from scratch: with no ready concept, structure or content. I had to learn the needs of the specialist and his patients, turn them into a concrete solution and limit the scope to what really matters.
- What I did
- I started with an interview with the client to understand his services, patients and goals. On that basis I proposed the solution: a business-card website with one clear path for the patient, meaning two main areas of work (orthopaedic and dental physiotherapy), a prominent invitation to book a visit, information about the specialist, patient reviews, answers to common questions, a blog and a map with opening hours. I managed the scope and priorities during implementation, built the website in WordPress and prepared its English version.
- Result
- As the sole person responsible for the project, I delivered a finished product: a bilingual website matched to the client’s needs, from the first conversation to launch.
- Technologies
- WordPress
- bilingual PL/EN website
Throughout the project I stayed in touch with the client at the key stages. We reviewed and accepted each element together, so we could be sure the final result was satisfying and the time needed for corrections was as short as possible. It was iterative work built on continuous communication.
